The XVI Europe Road Show brought together senior government authorities, private-sector representatives, and international investors in London and Madrid. The event presented Peru’s economic outlook, promoted investment opportunities, and strengthened dialogue with the European financial community.

London
In London, the seminar "Development in Peru: Foreign Investment and Economic Progress" was held. The welcome remarks were delivered by Juan Carlos Gamarra, Ambassador of Peru to the United Kingdom. Dr. Julio Velarde then presented an overview of Peru's monetary policy and macroeconomic stability. The event also featured a panel titled "Economic Development and Great Opportunities for Investment in Peru," with the participation of Jorge Muñoz, Mayor of the Municipality of Lima; Carlos Neuhaus, Executive Director of the Organizing Committee for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games; Jorge Ramos Raygada, CEO of Grupo Sura; and Oliver Cornock, Editor-in-Chief of Oxford Business Group, who moderated the panel. Subsequently, Minister Carlos Oliva presented an overview of the Peruvian macroeconomy. The closing remarks were delivered by Ambassador Kate Harrisson and Francis Stenning.

Madrid
Two seminars were held in Madrid. The first was the Spain–Peru Business Meeting, held at Fundación Telefónica. The following day, the second seminar, "Peru in Development: Foreign Investment and Economic Progress," took place. The seminar included the special participation of President Martín Vizcarra, who inaugurated the event. Ministers Carlos Oliva and Edmer Trujillo, as well as Dr. Julio Velarde, also participated. After the seminar, inPERÚ delegates had the opportunity to visit the ARCO art fair, where Peru was the guest country. In the evening, the delegation was invited to a cocktail reception hosted by President Vizcarra and his wife on behalf of the King and Queen of Spain.

The IX Asia Roadshow traveled through Tokyo, Seoul, and Beijing with a delegation led by Julio Velarde and public- and private-sector representatives. Through investment seminars and dialogue with investors and financial institutions, the mission promoted Peru’s economic opportunities and consolidated ties with Asia’s leading markets.
